The Fire Code states, “Supervisory staff shall be instructed in the fire emergency procedures as described in the fire safety plan before they are given any responsibility for fire safety.” 

Supervisory Staff is defined as those occupants of a building who have some delegated responsibility for the fire safety of other occupants under the Fire Safety Plan.  This could include anyone with a responsibility for fire safety such as:

  • Building Operators,
  • Reception / Concierge,
  • Security personnel,
  • Tenant / Floor Wardens, etc…

We can provide on-site training to Supervisory Staff in order to ensure all persons are aware of and understand what they are required to do in case of an emergency.
